  Excellent family campgrounds, hardly 10 minutes from Charlottetown. It's by no means a "real" camping experience, and feels more like camping in a friend's yard, but that hardly matters since it's so convenient and affordable. The washroom are amazingly clean, the showers warm, and the office sells firewood, kindly and even some basic supplies and food. Kids can rent toys and enjoy the decent playground. The rest of us can enjoy walking on the beach and the relative quiet of the grounds in the evening. Perfect for using this site as a base for exploring PEI.

  Our favourite campground getaway. Just far enough from the city to get away, but still close enough to run back home when we forget something. The sites are spaced out enough that you don't feel packed in. There are nice playgrounds for the kids as well as a great pool with a diving board. The daily kids activities are always fun and the general feel around the camp is a family friendly fun environment.
